    CASE STUDIES

Retail Trend Tour for one of the world's leading mobile phone service providers

This trend tour was commissioned to kick-start the creative process to improve the effectiveness of this brand’s stores.

We delivered a 2-day trend tour that focused on the changing role of the retail space, exploring and discussing a variety of store formats. Utilising its network of contacts, Insider Trends arranged eight meetings with representatives from innovative, extremely profitable businesses, which gave the delegates the inside story on their strategy and its success. By the end of their experience, the group had a clear understanding of the future of the retail space, and the changes they could make in their stores to boost engagement and sales.

The day after the trend tour, a workshop was held, which helped delegates build a new strategic retail strategy based on the insight and inspiration from the trend tour.

Sustainability Trend Tour for Project Zero's lead advisers

Whilst preparing the masterplan for Sonderberg, Denmark's first zero-carbon city, three senior sustainability consultants called on Insider Trends to show them some of the most successful sustainable development initiatives in the city.

We delivered a day-long trend tour which gave the delegates first-hand, in-depth experience of central London’s most innovative sustainable planning initiatives, regenerated communities, city farms, vertical gardens, green retail spaces, sustainable restaurants and more.

By the end of their trend experience, the consultants had a much deeper understanding of the full scope of sustainability, and a raft of new ideas to enhance their project. These were shared with the larger team on their return to Denmark, improving and strengthening the masterplan.

Innovative Bars and Restaurants Tour for a global spirits brand

At the start of its new project to boost spirits sales in on- and off-trade retail environments, the creative team from a global spirits brand engaged Insider Trends to show them a range of stimulus across one action-packed day.

Because the group had flown in specially to take the tour, the day was a long one, running from 9.30am until cocktails at 7pm. Every part of the day was designed to inspire, from the meetings with groundbreaking new service and hospitality businesses, to the lunch at a restaurant featuring interactive technology, to the supporting trend report that outlined innovations elsewhere in the world.

"We came to find inspiration for our new major project. We needed to see the best of what's happening in the world, but we had no time to go on a world tour. London's a global city - you've showed us the best of what's happening worldwide in a few hours. It's been great."
    - David Hagelin, Creative Director at a Swedish Advertising Agency
